Bridge and Tunnel Surveys

We provide accurate asbuilt surveys for challenging tunnel and bridge environments. Create detailed asbuilt drawings, sections, plans, and 3D models that reflect the asbuilt conditions.

Bridge Surveys and Quality Control

Bridges acquire various surveys through out its lifecycle; starting from the construction phase and continuing during the maintenances.

Bridges by their nature are challenging projects to be constructed. Suspension bridges tend to have movement, which needs to be addressed during the design and the construction.

Overpasses (highway bridges) and other bridge types requires inspection and maintenance throughout their lifecycle.

We’ve worked on so many different bridge surveying projects from suspension bridge shaft scanning and quality control before they are submerged to the water, to 3D laser scanning and creating a BIM model of an overpass that caused an accident due to low clearance. Our customers come to us with their problems/needs and we design a workflow specific to their project assuring the accurate and high quality deliverable.

Tunnel 3D asbuilt scanning

Tunnels are  another challenging area to do surveying at. Because of long narrow shape, it is easy to loose the accurate direction within the tunnels. We design our workflow; use of targets, type of targets, use of total stations and etc., to be able to deliver accurate data. We’ve been working in tunnels for creating tunnel section drawings, maintenance projects, infrastructure BIM projects, to report the progress of the construction and so on.
